I have never been truly introduced to the world of
blogs. I’m excited to see what they are
all about. This is the first blog I have
ever made so going into the task I was not exactly sure of what to expect. To be completely honest, I did not think
there was a single step in the process of making the blog that I caught myself
stopping and thinking, “Man, this is really challenging!” After setting up my blog, I realized how user
friendly the website really was. There
was only about two or three steps to creating the blog, and once I was
finished it was made very clear how to post on the blog. Aside the fact that it was so easy, another
thing that stood out to me and was the most surprising part of setting up the
blog was that they were not asking for any of my personal information. It feels like in this day and age every
company that has a website online is expecting to get all the information they
need to lure you into their product if they have not already. Fortunately, I did not encounter any problems
with creating the blog, but I’m sure that if I did end up encountering a
problem, I would be able to ask Professor Leake and he would point me in the
right direction. So far, my opinion
about blogs is very open. On one side,
they are very easy to set up and use, but it seems to me that people are more
focused on sharing their opinions on Facebook, Twitter, and other social
networking sites. One connection I see a blog has with Facebook is its user friendliness.
The only connection I see with writing so far is that you have to write
in a blog for it to be an actual blog.
